Duane Huie

Duane has pastored Livingston Christian Center since October, 1980. He and his wife Joan, who is an RN and manager of the operating room at Livingston Memorial Hospital, were married in 1973. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
A graduate of Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, Duane taught public school for 3 years. He and Joan then moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where he attended Bethel Theological Seminary from 1976-1979 and earned a Master of Divinity degree. He later completed his Doctor of Ministry degree, also at Bethel Seminary.
Duane is a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, serves on the Upper Yellowstone Critical
Incident Stress Management Team and is the chaplain for the Park County sheriff's department. He enjoys many outdoor activities, photography and playing guitar. Joan spent much of her early life in East Africa as a missionary kid. The Huies have taken several short-term missions trips to East African countries.
Duane is passionate about helping people grow in their walk with the Lord and in their personal relationships. His preaching and leadership style is aimed at Discovering who we are in Christ, Developing our God-given potential and Discipling Christ-followers.
