People Growing Together

This is our statement of purpose

In 1980 pastor Duane Huie arrived at the church and introduced the concept of people growing together. We have been running with the idea ever since.

Implications

Think of the statement people growing together as a filter that everything we do at LCC must pass through. If it doesn't bring people together to grow in some area of their lives than we don't do it (at least we try not to). We are on a journey that doesn't represent perfection.

Small groups, intergenerational ministry, friendships, community-wide events, etc.
